Just Breathe

So many times have i heard that phrase " Stop and smell the roses", yet ive rarely seen anyone actually really pay attention to how powerful and profound this simple statement really is.

I myself must admit that when it comes to being highly sensitive, the best thing that i can do in order to remove myself from the "drama flick" of life, when things become too overwhelming at times is to just Breathe!

Look at the drastic and instant effect the power of breath has right now. Take a Deep breath in for two counts, deep deep deep fill those lungs as much as you can, and now exhale on five counts.

Feel lighter?, calmer?,peaceful?, more relaxed?, light bulb go off in your head? Great! and that's just one Breath!

Way too many times do i have clients that come to me and i could swear that instead of walking in, they came jumping in with a pogo stick bouncing on in , emotionally scattered and then looking for solutions and answers for their current situations.

The mind is a very effective tool when it comes to training it correctly to work to our advantage when it follows guidance from the heart. But in alot of cases most people have come to accept that the mind is the Boss in the house, and allow it to drag them into the depths of fear based events that aren't even real, causing unnecessary pain and heartache.

I've seen people shackled to this way of living for years, replaying events and scenarios in their heads, mostly from the past and then the second runner up would be all the worse case possibilities of some situation that would likely to never play out in their actual life. Day by day, tormenting themselves with this dilemma, causing stress, physical aliments and in some serious cases even suicide.

So the next time you're able to catch yourself in the middle of one of those " horror movies" that you've been creating in that head of yours, Breathe! the next time that you've found yourself stuck in one of those dreaded daily " oh no!" moments, stop and breathe. Try to not treat life as an emergency, it's always worked out before and it's always going to work out in the end.

Take back control and power of your life, one Breath at a time!

Blessings
Anjali

Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost.
..HaHa!) Excellent job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it.

  3. I'm impressed, I have to admit. Seldom do I come across a blog that's both educative and interesting,
and let me tell you, you've hit the nail on the head. The problem is something that not enough men and women are speaking intelligently about. I'm very
happy I found this during my search for something regarding this.
